CBP Reschedules ACE Ocean/Rail Manifest Rollout Due to Unplanned ACS Outage
Washington – U.S. Customs and Border Protection has rescheduled the ACE Ocean/Rail Manifest System, or M1, deployment for August 26 as a result of an unplanned Automated Commercial System database outage this past weekend. Due to the communication between M1 and ACS during the pilot phases, it is important that ACS stabilize after the outage before deploying M1. The M1 deployment will allow members of the trade to test the system. The rescheduled deployment date does not have an impact on the initiation of the M1 pilot. Read more
